Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.InvalidClientQueryException.The expression "web/lists/getbytitle("ListTitle")/items" is not valid

When working with SharePoint 2013/216 RESTful API, you may receive the following error:

Make sure that you use single quotes when passing parameters to the REST methods.
